We went to bed around 11pm last night (so much for dreaming about 9 pm), but we&#8217;re retired, so we can catch up on our rest anytime. We didn&#8217;t really sleep last night, we were laughing and giggling like two kids at 4am with the excitement of starting this journey . Richard showed up at 5:20am to take. Us to the shuttle bus. Thanks Richard and Ruth for all of your support over the last couple of weeks, the smoothies , root beer floats and just for being there and making us smile and laugh! We arrived at the Las Vegas airport at 7:10am and went through security for the first time as non-FAA employees, like the regular folks. Life is good! Decided to grab some coffee, can you believe there was NO McDonald&#8217;s in the airport. That is unconstitutional , so we had to settle for Cinnabon. That was terrible&nbsp; LOL!&nbsp; so we are heading to Dallas as our next stop and then onward to New York where my wonderful brother in-law will pick us up to spend a very quick visit with the family.
