We made it to New York. Shuttle from St. George to Las Vegas, Flight to DFW, and then to Laguardia. Everything went smooth. We got through security with our hiking poles in the packs with no problems. Our short layover in DFW went well and I even caught a few Zzzzs on the plane. My brother picked us up for the fast paced drive back to his house for the night. Even though my son and wife would find it hard to believe, it makes me realize how much I have slowed down in the driving.<\/p>\n

Due fratelli<\/p><\/div>\n

Of course in true Italian mom tradition, there was speidini and baked ziti waiting for us when we got to my brother’s house. Thank you mom, it was delicious. This morning, breakfast at moms, some time with mi fratello (brother) and leave for JFK around 2:00 P.M. Then ready or not Belgium, here we come. Thank you Steve for touring the New York Airports with us. Thanks to all for your well wishes. We know we will have fun.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
